Describe the work candidates will actually do
Choose a recognizable job title and the industry that best matches the position. Start with the main responsibilities rather than a long company introduction. Identify the equipment, systems or customer work involved where relevant.
Separate essential requirements from skills you can teach. Explain the level of experience needed and avoid unnecessary conditions that do not relate to the job. Review the posting for accuracy before submitting it.
Make location, schedule and pay unambiguous
Name the city and state and identify the work arrangement. If a role moves between sites, explain that. For hybrid work, describe on-site expectations. For remote work, state any location restrictions relevant to the position.
Provide the pay range and pay period in the correct fields and explain the expected schedule. Include relevant benefits in the description. Check the rules applicable to your organization and the position separately; this guide is practical posting advice, not a legal compliance review.
Give candidates a credible company profile
Use the actual business name and a clear description of what the company does. Provide an accurate website where available. Explain the team or working environment without inventing reviews, awards or employee numbers.
Use a consistent contact process and keep hiring communication related to the role. Do not ask applicants to pay for access to a job or to share unnecessary sensitive information during an initial conversation.
Review applications and keep listings accurate
WorkAtlas supports job posting, applications and conversations within the portal. Submitted jobs are subject to moderation before entering public search. A listing may also stop appearing when it expires or the relevant employer access ends.
Close filled roles and update inaccurate details. If duties or requirements change substantially, review the posting rather than continuing to recruit against an outdated description. Clear and current information makes applications easier to assess.
Understand the launch offer
WorkAtlas's launch access includes three calendar months for employers, with no credit card and no automatic renewal. Review the current access conditions and employer rules before registering.
The portal is building its founding community. Access does not guarantee a particular number of candidates, applications or hires. You can help establish the marketplace by publishing a genuine, well-described opportunity.
